Now I know this isn't cool to admit, but I love London. I love the fact that you can walk from the City to The West End in 45 minutes, I love the villages (you'll notice this if you do walk) and the Markets and the pubs and the people.
I currently work there and now I'm going to be there for the Olympics, so while it probably will get frustrating at times, I'll be heading for Hyde Park and anywhere I can get a bit of atmosphere for free. And I won't be doing it like a tourist. To the surprise of everyone (not least themselves) I'll be doing it like a Londoner.

ITIL Process: there's a problem in one of those words
And not in the one that I was expecting. While I was railing at 'ITIL', I should have been railing at 'Process'. It was the IT Skeptic that pointed me in the direction of Adaptive Case Management and the effect was as profound as when I was first introduced to ITIL.
I'm still learning up on ACM and it will take a little while to integrate it with ITIL, but I'm sure it will go a long way to remove the blockers that I was moaning about in my previous post. I might even take less time than 18 months to post again. :-)
